I’m 16 with size 40DDD and I weigh about 129 pounds and iv been recommended by my doctor to look for breast reductions and a few parents have also said the same thing, can I get a breast reduction at 16 in florida with a parent consent?
I am not familiar with the regulations in Florida, but if you are 16 years old, weigh 129 lbs and wear a bra size 40DDD you are DEFINITELY a GREAT candidate for a breast reduction! This will be a life changing procedure for you!
Based upon your description, it seems that you are probably a good candidate for a breast reduction procedure. Usually parental consent is needed unless you are an emancipated minor. Best of luck with your decision to move forward.
Thank you for your question, yes you are a good candidate for a breast reduction. At your age however you run the risk that your breasts may not have finished developing but you should expect tremendous improvement in your back and neck pain after having a breast reduction. Your parents will need to sign your consent since you are younger than 18. Good luck!
Hello and thank you for your excellent question. Based on your question, you sound like a good candidate for a breast reduction. Provided you have parental consent, then yes, you should be eligible for the procedure. It is best to answer your question during a face-to-face evaluation, when you can discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure, and you can have a physical examination to evaluate for that procedure. I recommend that you find a board-certified, or board-eligible plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of similar patients whom have had this procedure. If you have any questions, call our office for assistance. Good luck!
Yes, you are a candidate for a breast reduction. I would assume you haven't had further maturation, growth recently and have been stable in your size?
However, a breast reduction will vastly improve your quality of life.
