The Kansas City VA Medical Center and the Department of Plastic, Burn and Wound Surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center are seeking an additional BC/BE plastic surgeon for a part- or full-time position at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. Applicants are invited as voluntary or regular faculty at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor based on experience.
Qualified candidates will have
completed an accredited residency in Plastic Surgery and be board
certified/eligible in Plastic Surgery. The successful candidate will possess excellent
clinical skills in general reconstructive plastic surgery and have an interest
in education. There is always a
Plastic Surgery Resident on service. All
faculty are required to take an active role in training the KCVA residents and are
encouraged to participate in our integrated plastic surgery training program. Research
opportunities are available and encouraged.
A generous compensation package
with benefits will be offered and the position is eligible for the Education
Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). There are
potential part-time opportunities for employment through the KU Department of
Plastic Surgery as well.
