The
University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) Pediatric Plastic Surgery
Fellowship is a one-year, non-ACGME fellowship (Start date, July 1, 2025)
designed to provide the Fellow with advanced training in the spectrum of
pediatric Plastic Surgery problems, including craniofacial surgery and general
pediatric Plastic Surgery. It is ideal for the trained Plastic Surgeon who
would like further expertise in pediatric Plastic Surgery at institutions
that serve a wide geographic area including both urban and rural populations.
The Fellow will be fully engaged in the academic enterprise of the Department,
including teaching at the undergraduate and graduate medical level, participating in
research, and disseminating scholarly work through presentations and publications.
The Fellow will work with faculty of the
Division of Plastic Surgery in the inpatient, outpatient, and operating room
setting, will participate in interdisciplinary teams, and will work at multiple
affiliated institutions. (Program
