Burn Surgery FellowshipPosted: 10/22/2024

MEMPHIS
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) Burn Surgery fellowship is a one-year, non-ACGME fellowship (Start date, July 1, 2024) designed to provide the fellow with advanced training clinical education in burn critical care and all aspects of burn surgery including reconstruction. It is offered through a 14-bed Burn Center located in Memphis’ large tertiary referral hospital, Regional One Health (ROH). Research activity is encouraged and supported. 

The Burn Center is staffed by plastic surgeons as well as critical care physicians. The fellow will be fully engaged in the academic enterprise of the Department, including teaching at the undergraduate and graduate medical level, participating in research, and disseminating scholarly work through presentations and publications. The fellow will work with faculty of the Division of Plastic Surgery in the inpatient, outpatient, and operating room setting, and will participate in interdisciplinary teams.
