Job Description:
The Division of Plastic Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Cooper University Hospital is recruiting for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Surgery or above.  Qualified candidates should possess or be eligible for certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and should have completed a Hand Fellowship and be eligible for CAQH certification.  The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in hand surgery, teaching and clinical research.  The selected candidate will provide hand surgery services as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team that includes members of the Division of Plastic Surgery and the Department of Orthopedic Surgery.  The selected candidate will also function as a member of the teaching faculty at the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University training residents in the Cooper Plastic Surgery Integrated Residency program as well as teaching medical students and rotating surgery residents. 

Cooper University Hospital, the clinical campus of Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, is the leading provider of health services to Southern New Jersey. Cooper’s main hospital is located in Camden, NJ, right across the river from Philadelphia. Cooper also has satellite offices in the surrounding suburbs, including Cherry Hill, Moorestown, Voorhees and Washington Township with a surgery center based in Voorhees.

The Division of Plastic Surgery at Cooper University Hospital is an expanding program with 7 surgeons who function in a team-based atmosphere.
