Our rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute seek to hire three (3) full-time dynamic, highly-qualified, board-certified (or eligible) Plastic Surgeons to join City of Hope's Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery.  Microsurgical fellowship training or extensive experience as a primary surgeon in microsurgical procedures is required.  Position Highlights:

·         Three southern California practice site options:  (1) Duarte and South Bay practice sites (Torrance/San Pedro) or (2) Duarte and San Gabriel Valley (South Pasadena/Arcadia) or (3) Irvine (for new hospital opening in late 2025!)

         These are full-time positions in an established and rapidly expanding team of 6 plastic surgeons, NP, PA and Microsurgery Fellow.

·         Clinical work will include care of complex reconstructive problems (breast reconstruction, lymphatic reconstruction,  chest wall and extremity reconstruction, skin cancer etc.). Predominance will be to provide reconstructive needs of breast and skin cancer patients.

·         Commensurate with the background and qualifications of the candidate, research/educational/ administrative time will be defined and supported.  

·         Active mentorship to develop academic interests will be provided by the Division Chief and senior faculty

·         Wonderful colleagues within an expansive Division of Plastic Surgery

Salary Range:  $360K - $520K. The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits.  Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

 Qualifications:

·         Ability to grow a busy clinical practice

·         Collaborative with interest in teaching, research, and clinical trials

·         Prior experience should include a commitment to provide state-of-the-art patient focused clinical care, specialized training & ability in microsurgical procedures, dedication to resident education (teaching awards, etc.), accomplishment in research, and a knowledge base pertinent to the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery

·         Microsurgical fellowship training or extensive experience as a primary surgeon in microsurgical procedures is required

·         Selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license

·         Applicants must have an M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree, and be board-certified or board-eligible in Plastic Surgery
