Plastic & Breast Reconstructive
Surgery Faculty Position
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
The Jim and Eleanor Randall Department
of Surgery at Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Full-Time Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgeon at the Assistant Professor level with expertise in microsurgery and
reconstructive surgery with an emphasis on breast reconstruction, lymphatic
surgery, and general reconstruction. The
candidate will be primarily responsible for further developing a rapidly
growing breast reconstruction and microsurgery program at Cedars-Sinai Tarzana
Medical Center located in the San Fernando Valley. The preferred candidate will be academically
motivated to pursue and participate in clinical research and other research
activities.
The Division of Plastic &
Reconstruction Surgery is in a rapid growth phase, expanding reconstructive
service lines across the health system, including breast reconstruction,
lymphatic surgery, extremity reconstruction, peripheral nerve surgery, and
craniofacial and pediatric surgery. We
are affiliated with both UCLA and USC, and teaching residents, fellows and
students within Cedars-Sinai and through multiple institutions.
Minimum Requirements:

Medical
Degree from an accredited medical school.
·
Board
Certified (or eligible) in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
·
Ability
to obtain and maintain an unrestricted California license as Physician and
Surgeon.
·
Tarzana
Medical Center Medical Staff Membership, Cedars-Sinai Medical Staff Membership and
meet the eligibility and credentialling requirements of the Cedars-Sinai
Medical Care Foundation.
·
A
track record of excellence in teaching, patient care and administration.
·
Demonstrated
expertise in plastic and reconstructive surgery with a commitment to developing
and fostering a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach to teaching, patient
care, and administration.
·
A
microsurgery fellowship is preferred

Our compensation philosophy
We offer competitive total compensation
that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our
employees. The total pay range shown
takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making
compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and
training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and
organizational factors. This total pay
range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We
also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.
Pay Range: $450,000 - $600,000 Total
