Description: The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto, is offering a 12-month fellowship in Pediatric Craniofacial Surgery to start July 1st, 2025. This fellowship provides a large volume of experience covering the scope of pediatric craniofacial conditions including craniosynostosis, syndromic craniofacial anomalies, cleft lip and palate, orthognathic surgery, craniomaxillofacial trauma, cranioplasty and vascular anomalies. Additional exposure to the scope of pediatric plastic surgery can be provided as appropriate/desired. Fellows will work under the supervision of 4 consultant surgeons and experience an interdisciplinary approach in the management of complex pediatric craniofacial patients. A salary of $85,564.01 is provided, along with comprehensive Canadian healthcare coverage and benefits. Support for conference attendance is also included.
Requirements: Successful completion of a Royal College or American Board-Certified Plastic Surgery Program or equivalent is required. Successful completion of the IELTS exam if the language of instruction and practice during medical school and residency was not in English. A passing grade must be obtained prior to submission of the fellowship application.
