The Division of Pediatric Plastic Surgery at Valley
Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Plastic Surgeon with an interest in
the breadth of Pediatric Plastic Surgery to join their comprehensive team of
three Plastic Surgeons and four Nurse Practitioners. For the interested
candidate, this practice will allow them the opportunity to immediately build
their craniofacial practice, involving a high volume of cleft, microtia and
craniosynostosis cases, while providing them with the opportunity to care for
patients involving the entire spectrum of pediatric plastic surgery including
craniofacial anomalies, craniofacial injures, hand injuries distal to the
carpus, vascular anomalies, ear anomalies, nasal deformities and adolescent
breast conditions in a setting unopposed by cross-specialty interests. Additionally, this opportunity provides the candidate
with excellent clinical volume for research opportunities as interested.
Valley Children’s craniofacial team has earned approval from
the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association (ACPA). This is a hidden gem of a job, providing care
to an underserved population with highly appreciative families – over 75% of
our patients are enrolled in Medi-Cal, and many are non-English speakers – all
within cutting-edge facilities high regarded by the local community.
