Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Assistant Professor:
·
Medical Degree from
an accredited school of medicine
·
Board
Eligible or Certification in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
·
Completion
of Plastic Surgery Fellowship (ACGME accredited)
·
Ability
to obtain license to practice as a physician in the state of Colorado with
prescriptive privileges
·
Demonstrated
experience/training in hand/orthopedic surgical techniques
Associate Professor:
·
Board
Certification in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
·
Completion
of Plastic Surgery Fellowship (ACGME accredited)
·
Ability
to obtain license to practice as a physician in the state of Colorado with
prescriptive privileges
·
5+ years’
experience in plastic surgery practice for Associate Professor rank
·
5+ years’ experience
in hand/orthopedic surgical techniques
Professor:
·
Board
Certification in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
·
Completion
of Plastic Surgery Fellowship (ACGME accredited)
·
Ability
to obtain license to practice as a physician in the state of Colorado with
prescriptive privileges
·
7+ years’
experience in plastic surgery practice for Professor rank
·
7+ years’ experience in hand/orthopedic
surgical techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
·
Experience or
training in hand surgery and/or brachial plexus surgery.
·
Experience in an
academic clinical environment.
·
The candidate should
also demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.
