The Department of Surgery at New
York-Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell Medicine College is seeking a full-time,
experienced Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon trained by an ACGME accredited
fellowship program to be a part of the extension of the Plastic Surgery division
to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The position will be at the level of
Assistant Professor or Associate Professor.
The NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is a major site of
New York-Presbyterian Hospital and is a large community
hospital with 650 beds. All full-time
faculty at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital are Weill Cornell
Medicine faculty.
Prospective candidates should
exhibit a commitment to reconstructive plastic surgery, academia, research,
medical student teaching, resident supervision and training. Experience in the full range of
reconstructive plastic surgery, inclusive of breast and other oncologic reconstruction,
and microsurgery expertise is required. NYPBMH has active clinical service
lines in neurosurgery, otolaryngology, orthopedic and trauma surgery.

The anticipated range of
base salary for this position is $225,000 to $522,704 total compensation (base
and supplement) will be wholly dependent on experience and other qualifications
of the successful candidate. The above
salary range for New York City based roles represents WCM’s good faith
and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.
