Seeking: Plastic Surgeon with Expertise in Reconstructive Microsurgery

About Us: North Beach Plastic Surgery (NBPS) is looking to expand Coastal Virginia’s premier Breast Reconstruction Program (Center for Advanced Breast Reconstruction) by seeking an additional BE/BC plastic surgeon with additional fellowship training in Reconstructive Microvascular Surgery.  Opportunities for aesthetic breast, body and face surgery are also abundant if desired.  Located in beautiful Virginia Beach, NBPS maintains the highest volume free-flap practice in greater southeast Virginia and is looking for a self-driven and ambitious team-player to join our rapidly growing Microvascular Surgery team.

Position Overview:  The position will maintain a primary focus on Breast Microsurgery and Lymphatic Reconstruction.  Currently, NBPS performs 1-4 breast microsurgery cases per week with nearly 200 free-flaps performed yearly.  The ideal candidate will be well versed in executing DIEPs, TUGs/DUGs, PAPs, LAPs, TDAPs, LDs, stacked-flaps and hybrid techniques in the immediate, delayed and delayed-immediate setting.  Surgeries are performed using both the co-surgeon and single surgeon model (+SA/PA).  Loupe-Only microsurgery is preferred but not required.  Opportunities for lymphatic and robotic surgery are currently being developed.  NBPS is committed to creating a sustainable work-life balance.
