The redesigned and expanded Plastic Surgery Coding Workshop is a comprehensive virtual learning program featuring a two-day live interactive online meeting that delves into the NEW codes for Hernia Repair and the revised Evaluation and Management coding guidelines. Expanded content, relevant examples and live case-based instruction of the new coding standards are complemented by a comprehensive workbook for study and review at your convenience.
This interactive instruction allows both the newest coding professionals and those with more experience to learn accurate coding and implementation strategies from experts in the field while minimizing risks, costs of travel and time commitment.

Cancellations
All cancellations must be received in writing to be considered for refund. Cancellations on or before January 13, 2023, will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations between January 14, 2023, and February 15, 2023, will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after February 15, 2023. All refunds are subject to a $25 processing fee.

Intended Audience
This accredited educational activity is designed specifically for plastic surgeons and their office staff teams, including office administrators, practice managers, billing companies and billing/coding specialists. Residents and fellows are also encouraged to attend the program.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this live virtual activity, participants should be able to do the following:
- Identify new CPT codes, updates and payment policies affecting plastic surgery for 2023 including the new code structure for hernia repair coding
- Discuss the 2023 updates to the E/M codes and guidelines related to inpatient care
- Review surgical coding for breast, flaps and grafts, gender surgery, hand and craniofacial to ensure accurate reimbursement
- Identify CPT coding concepts, specific to skin lesion removal, lacerations and would debridement procedures

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Designation
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons designates this live virtual activity for a maximum of 11.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
