Registration is now open for the 2024 NYRSPS Annual Meeting: #TrendingTopics in Plastic Surgery. This year's meeting will be a one-day event centered around some of the hottest issues currently facing our field. The content of the meeting will also be available on demand after the meeting concludes for a period of 60 days.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be received in writing to be considered for refund. Cancellations on or before November 1, 2024, will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations between November 2, 2024, and November 13, 2024, will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after November 13, 2024. All refunds are subject to a $25 processing fee.

Intended Audience

This in-person activity is for plastic surgery practitioners and other healthcare professionals interested in translating expanded knowledge into practice to improve patient outcomes in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss advances in plastic surgery techniques and their impact on patients.
  • Identify the optimal treatment plan for patients based on emerging patient safety and trend data.
  • Evaluate the science and outcomes of medical devices to determine appropriate patient applicability.

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons (NYRSPS). The American Society of Plastic Surgeons is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Recognition Statement

The Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits offered by this activity are enhanced by ASPS Learner Credit Reporting for learners who have opted into this reporting. Successful completion of this CME activity enables active American Board of Surgery (ABS) members the opportunity to earn credit toward the CME requirement of the ABS's Continuous Certification program when claimed within 30 days of completion of the activity.

Participants in ASPS-accredited education who want their CME credits reported to certifying and state licensing boards must opt-in to reporting and add their NPI as well as state license ID and/or collaborating board ID(s) before claiming credit.
