Cancellations

All cancellations must be received in writing to be considered for refund. Cancellations on or before January 31, 2025, will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations between February 1, 2025, and April 2, 2025, will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after April 2, 2025. All refunds are subject to a $50 processing fee.

Intended Audience

This course is appropriate for plastic surgeons seeking to increase their knowledge regarding clinical science, plastic surgery techniques and patient safety.

This in-person activity is intended for the following audiences:

  • Plastic surgeons certified by their national accreditation board
  • Plastic surgeons eligible to be certified by their national accreditation board
  • Plastic surgery residents/trainees

ASPS has sole discretion and reserves the right to refuse registration and/or limit participation in its activities.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this live activity, participants should be able to:

  • Summarize current and emerging issues and advances impacting the diagnosis and delivery of plastic surgery care
  • Compare various approaches to aesthetic and reconstructive patient care to their own practice and incorporate best practices as appropriate to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Articulate strategies to manage and avoid common complications related to popular plastic surgery procedures

Accreditation

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons designates this live activity for a maximum of 21.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Of the 21.25 credits, 3.0 credits have been identified as applicable to patient safety.

Recognition Statement

The Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits offered by this activity are enhanced by ASPS Learner Credit Reporting for learners who have opted into this reporting. Successful completion of this CME activity enables active American Board of Surgery (ABS) members the opportunity to earn credit toward the CME requirement of the ABS's Continuous Certification program when claimed within 30 days of completion of the activity.

Participants in ASPS-accredited education who want their CME credits reported to certifying and state licensing boards must opt-in to reporting and add their NPI as well as state license ID and/or collaborating board ID(s) before claiming credit.
