In this course, you will learn about the different types of flaps and grafts used in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Tips for coding flaps and grafts will also be discussed.

1. Describe the use of flaps and grafts
2. Distinguish between local, regional and microvascular flaps
3. Recognize the CPT codes used for the three main flap types and others
4. Recognize federal and state authorities that investigate fraud
5. Identify commonly used CPT graft codes
6. Use flap and graft coding tips to accurately recorded procedures
