Cancellations
All cancellations must be received in writing to be considered for refund. Cancellations on or before January 14, 2025, will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations between January 15, 2025, and February 14, 2025, will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after February 14, 2025. All refunds are subject to a $25 processing fee.

Intended Audience
This accredited educational activity is designed specifically for plastic surgeons and their office staff teams, including office administrators, practice managers, billing companies and billing/coding specialists. Residents and fellows are also encouraged to attend the program.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this live virtual activity, participants should be able to do the following:
- Recognize when to append modifiers to a procedure code to optimize payment.
- Discuss the impact of modifiers on global periods and reimbursement.
- Identify areas for improvement in documenting plastic surgery procedures.
- Identify new CPT codes, updates and payment policies affecting plastic surgery for 2025.
- Review surgical coding for breast, craniofacial, flaps and grafts, gender surgery, hand and nerve surgery to ensure accurate reimbursement.
- Identify CPT coding concepts, specific to skin lesion removal, lacerations and wound debridement procedures.
Accreditation
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Designation
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons designates this live virtual activity for a maximum of 13.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Recognition Statement
The Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits offered by this activity are enhanced by ASPS Learner Credit Reporting for learners who have opted into this reporting. Successful completion of this CME activity enables active American Board of Surgery (ABS) members the opportunity to earn credit toward the CME requirement of the ABS's Continuous Certification program when claimed within 30 days of completion of the activity.
Participants in ASPS-accredited education who want their CME credits reported to certifying and state licensing boards must opt-in to reporting and add their NPI as well as state license ID and/or collaborating board ID(s) before claiming credit.
