Product Description

An obese 32 year old female presents with symptomatic macromastia and undergoes bilateral reduction mammoplasty. An incidental finding of DCIS was found in the left specimen, and the patient was ultimately diagnosed with a genetic mutation increasing her risk of breast cancer. She underwent bilateral mastectomy with immediate free flap breast reconstruction, and clear margins were obtained with the mastectomy. She has been recovering well since surgery without the need for further oncologic treatment.
