Product Description

Migraine surgery continues to be one of the hottest topics in plastic surgery. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Migraine Surgery Society are excited to offer a one-day Migraine Surgery Symposium that will dive into the science, anatomy and surgical treatment of the trigger sites.  The symposium will take place on September 14, 2024 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central.

This virtual program will include didactic presentations from noted experts, and lively panel discussions.  Join us from the convenience of your home or office on September 14.

The symposium proceedings will be be recorded. The program is subject to change.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be received in writing to be considered for refund. Cancellations on or before July 25, 2024, will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations between July 26, 2023 and September 5, 2024, will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after September 6, 2024. All refunds are subject to a $50 processing fee.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this live virtual activity, participants should be able to do the following:

  1. Identify migraine headaches and related medication overdoses.
  2. Identify anatomy of supraorbital, supratrochlear, zygomaticotemporal and auriculotemporal nerve trigger sites.
  3. Plan and demonstrate the surgical treatment of the trigger sites (including frontal and temporal, rhinogenic, auriculotemporal, and greater and lesser occipital).

Accreditation

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation

This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

 

Recognition Statement

The Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits offered by this activity are enhanced by ASPS Learner Credit Reporting for learners who have opted into this reporting. Successful completion of this CME activity enables active American Board of Surgery (ABS) members the opportunity to earn credit toward the CME requirement of the ABS's Continuous Certification program when claimed within 30 days of completion of the activity.

Participants in ASPS-accredited education who want their CME credits reported to certifying and state licensing boards must opt-in to reporting and add their NPI as well as state license ID and/or collaborating board ID(s) before claiming credit.
